In Macaos defense, the 'pick a die, then get those N items in N turns' is a novel idea. However, since it happened to be the unfortunate game that made the moniker jump into my head, it is at least an honorary JASE.
Dutch gaming site FOKgames has found a forumpost in which the (possible) creator states that it's not going to well with him. Macao Brian Bankler Bankler Now, to be fair to Macao, Im not really sure if truly counts as a JASE. This game contains a few images that some may find disturbing, although horror is not the main part of the story. Quite Soulless is an indie adventure game with a unique visual look, as you can see in the trailer below.
Mild to Moderate Horror Content, Mild to Moderate Jump-Scares, Mentioned death and disease. Even the dungeons were bland, bless their tiny souls.
